Pokemon Red and Blue glitches - Level 100 Pokemon Before Brock

I've been fond of Pokemon Glitches when i was kid, the "MissingNo." and "Catch Mew" tricks, it's Euphoric as a Kid Discovering this Glitches passing through Word of Mouth to one person to another. and here after reading some article about it. i decided to make Blog about it. Let's Start.


What you Need: [Basically you already Know This but i'm gonna post it anyway]
an EMULATOR and ROM

for Emulator : VISUAL BOY ADVANCE DOWNLOAD
for ROM : Just get them in Emuparadise.com or LoveROMs.com

The Best Pokemon You Can Get here is GENGAR, to get GENGAR choose your starter Pokemon "CHARMANDER".

     

Do the Usual "OAK's PARCEL" and get that "POKEDEX"
Before leaving PALLET TOWN grab the "POTION" in your computer [in case of EMERGENCY].
Buy some "POKEBALLS" in VIRIDIAN CITY [i spend all my money buying those, that's 12 POKEBALLS]
then GRIND CHARMANDER up to LEVEL 12 or so on, you can gain Level in VIRIDIAN FOREST.
"IMPORTANT, DON'T BATTLE BLUE IN VICTORY ROAD on this point"

Go to This Trainer, it's the last of the VIRIDIAN FOREST, don't battle him.

find some "WEEDLE" and attack it with "GROWL" until he "POISONS" you.
We "NEED" the POISON for "POISON FRAMES" to change the order of calculation in the next step,
now RUN from WEEDLE.

POISON FRAME appears when the SCREEN FLICKS and the POKEMON with POISON stats takes damage. POISON FRAMES occur on EVERY 4th step. You need to go to this BLOCK at your "3RD STEP" then facing the Trainer at your 4th, so that the POISON FRAME will Occur. 

YOU WILL NOT BATTLE THIS TRAINER, i repeat
YOU WILL NOT BATTLE THIS TRAINER...

On this Point, YOU MUST SAVE THE GAME [SAVESTATE] before you proceed, because you will do it repeatedly.

on Your 4th STEP [POISON FRAME STEP] you MUST ENCOUNTER a "WILD POKEMON BATTLE" if you did not get a wild pokemon battle, load and repeat until you get one.

use "GROWL" to ATTACK and let the poison FAINT your POKEMON.
and you will see this little different BLACKOUT SCREEN.

Now PROCEED to "VICTORY ROAD" and fight "BLUE"

Fight of his 1st POKEMON [probably PIDGEY].
then use "GROWL" on the 2nd POKEMON [should be SQUIRTLE].

YOU MUST HIT SQUIRTLE WITH "6 GROWL" or so because the following will be ineffective.

until CHARMANDER faints.

Now go to VIRIDIAN FOREST.
[IMPORTANT: YOU MUST NOT FIGHT OR ENCOUNTER ANY WILD POKEMON this may lead Different Pokemon Spawn]
[IMPORTANT: Reserve a SAVESTATE from this POINT]
at the 1st Step of the VIRIDIAN FOREST a dialogue window will appear.

and here we go! a "WILD POKEMON APPEARS".
catch GENGAR with all your POKEBALLS.
if you Didn't, use your SAVESTATE until you catch him.




Put GENGAR in your 1st POKEMON SLOT.
and Put it in Battle!

SWAP GENGAR with CHARMANDER in BATTLE.
and Let CHARMANDER finish the battle.the Experience in this Battle should be enough to make GENGAR LEVEL UP to 100.

and that's it. a LEVEL 100 GENGAR.
